'Re-grouping for Mission'
At the Circuit Meeting held on 24 June 2010, following a proposal by the Circuit Leadership Team, it was agreed that progress should be made towards consolidation by the year 2016, including the following paragraphs taken from the paper which had been circulated at the meeting.
a) ‘The invitation to Minister(s) in 2011 will profile the appointments for members of staff to be focussed on growth and development across the Circuit. Implicit in this is the assumption that whilst ‘sustaining’ ministry will be available to churches, this will not be the main focus of their work.
b) The recognition that existing Ministers (including those arriving in 2010) may have to be asked to adjust areas of responsibility to meet the outcomes of these Circuit changes by 2016’.
