ÉGLISE CULTE PROTESTANTE de ST. MALO/ST. SERVAN
During 2006/2007 in response to an Appeal from our brethren in St. Malo, members of the Guernsey Circuit gave 1,100 euros towards the cost of re-building the small church at St. Malo/St. Servan, which we understand had been founded in the 19th century by Methodist missionaries from Guernsey. The development involved the demolition of the old premises and the construction on the same site of a new worship centre, hall, church office, kitchenette and toilets, plus an apartment at first floor level for the Church Pastor. Construction works commenced on site in the late Autumn of 2008.
Judith and I are delighted to report that during a recent visit to St. Malo we saw that the new premises are now virtually complete, and that the first Service to be held in the re-built church was celebrated on Sunday 13th June 2010. Regular weekly Services will commence in September. Praise be to God!
