Welcome to the website of the Bailiwick of Guernsey Methodist Circuit.

The fourteen churches of the Circuit are spread across three Channel Islands:  Guernsey, Alderney and Sark, laying off the coast of France, about 80 miles south of the coast of the English 'mainland'.  Although part of the British Isles, the history and culture of the Bailiwick is very different from the United Kingdom and our misssion and witness reflects the very special culture and community of these islands.

Our church communities each believe that God has called us into His mission for the world, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in our communities and to offer care and support to the vulnerable.  Our churches make and sustain Christian disciples in obedience to Christ's call to follow Him.

Together with the Jersey Circuit, we form the Channel Islands District of the Methodist Church.  The Channel Islands District is also part of the Southern and Islands Discipleship and Ministry Learning Network of the Methodist Church, which includes our 'northern neighbours' in the Southampton and South-East Districts.  The following link will give you further information on this:Southern and Islands DMLN
