Other Activities: Tuesdays:Alternating roughly every week (each activity below meeting roughly every 2 weeks)
Ladies Guild - at 7.30 pm. A group predominantly of women who organise a programme of entertaining speakers and the occasional meal. A time of fun, fellowship and with a spiritual thought to take home for the week.
Weeknight Fellowship - at 7.45 pm. This small group meets between the months of October and June for a time of informal praise and teaching. This group is supported by friends from other churches and denominations and offers the opportunity for sharing within a friendly environment. Visiting speakers from around the island attend and bring God's word to us.
Wednesdays:"T Junction" - 10.00 - 11.45 am. The church foyer is opened up for the community around to stop and have a chat over refreshments. It is proving popular with older folk that find themselves on their own and also with visitors who may just be walking past.
"Bright Hour" - 2.45 pm. A small group for the older members of the church many of whom are now living on their own. A time to participate in singing the old favourite hymns and to be encouraged by God's word brought by visiting speakers. An opportunity for fellowship for those generally of more mature years.
Thursdays:"Coffee Break" - 10.00 - 11.30 am. A group of women (from Galaad and elsewhere) that meet in the comfort of different homes, with visiting speakers and for informal fellowship. Visitors always welcome. Further details available (see contact below).
Fridays:"Little Fishes" - 1.00 - 2.30 pm. A Parent and Toddler group that offers a listening ear to those younger people who may have little or no link with the church. An opportunity for the children to play together whilst the parents can share the joys and difficulties of parenting.
Saturdays:"Pantry Stall" - 10.00 am - 12.00 midday on the first Saturday of every month. Once again the church foyer is opened up to church members, friends and passers by. Refreshments are served and a stall of various items including home made cakes are offered for sale. All the money raised is donated to different charities on the island. The church is also made available for quiet reflection and prayer.
Many other activities are organised by the church throughout the year, too numerous to mention. Should further information be required on any of these activities please contact the church Secretary on 257012.
